Technical requirements
A successful result is the sum of many factors. Below are some technical issues to consider when you are planning the purchase of a fireplace, either yourself or with the help of a NunnaUuni expert:
1. Directly into the fireplace The air is led from the pipe to the air control unit and from there to the fire chamber via the grate. This applies to storing stoves and Solo storing stoves with baking oven, and it is recommended for sites with forced ventilation. The air pipe must be made of fireproof material. 2. Through the air control unit into the room space Air is led to the air control unit and to the room space, passing from there to the combustion chamber via the air holes in the doors. This is suitable for Duo storing stoves with baking oven, and for baking ovens. The pipe must be made of fireproof material at least as regards the portion 50 mm under floor level. Country-specific regulations must be followed in the installation and choice of materials for the air pipes. SAFETY DISTANCES to combustible materials are often country- or even locality-specific. They must be heeded. These are minimum safety distances to combustible building materials, specified by NunnaUuni. See the presentation of safety distances NUNNAUUNI'S EXPERTS are at your service.
